We're looking for a Mid to Senior QA Automation Engineer, with relevant experience in automation projects, particularly with a Javascript background.
You’ll take ownership of the QA process—from analysing acceptance criteria and designing comprehensive test coverage to maintaining and improving our automated test framework (Playwright + TypeScript). Your critical thinking, technical expertise, and proactive attitude will help reduce bugs, and elevate overall product quality.
This full-time role requires expertise in testing Web applications (both Backend and Frontend). We value experience with Javascript.

Responsibilities
- Review acceptance criteria and requirements with stakeholders and provide actionable feedback
- Highlight possible scenarios not explicitly covered in the acceptance criteria
- Create and maintain detailed test plans and test cases
- Manually test new features and provide sign-off for releases
- Update and maintain automated end-to-end tests using Playwright
- Fix failing tests to help unblock pipelines
- Identify, report, and track bugs thoroughly
- Perform regression testing after bug fixes or deployments
- Conduct smoke or exploratory testing
- Collaborate with the developers to flag risks, bottlenecks, and problematic areas
- Propose technical solutions to meet testing needs
- Stay up to date with new testing tools and practices
- Apply Agile principles in your daily work
- Experience with automation using Playwright or Cypress (or similar tools)
- Experience with the Screenplay pattern
- Knowledge of performance testing with tools like K6
- Exposure to JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience creating and maintaining high-performance test frameworks
- Interest or experience in mentoring junior QA engineers or sharing knowledge with peers
Knowledge and skills
- Experience in programming with Javascript/Typescript,
- Experience in automated test areas (DB testing or Mobile Device testing),
- Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS Selectors, GIT,
- Experience with Jenkins, Jira, GI,
- Experience working in Agile methodology,
- Open to learning a new programming language,
- Good communication skills (spoken and written) in English (min B2),
- Analytical mind and problem-solving attitude,
