The promise of Team-as-a-Service (TaaS) is undeniable: a dedicated development team at your fingertips, ready to propel your product vision forward. But let's face it, geographical distance can introduce hurdles. Time zones differ, accents may create misunderstandings, and fostering a cohesive team spirit across continents can seem daunting.

Picture this: you are a newly-hired English Teacher that gets thrown into a virtual classroom. You have to find fast solutions to teaching online, to onboard all of your students, their parents and other, less tech-savvy colleagues. After months of emails, phone calls and thorough lesson planning you are left feeling that all that struggle was for nothing. What do you do next?

Analysing the market, deciding on the type of app you will build, estimating the budget and, finally, the execution – they all are long steps that can sometimes discourage you. I am a full-time software developer at Thinslices, and I also have Team Leader responsibilities. Like many of us, for the past 4 months I’ve been working from home. I also have a toddler who is in his curiosity & house exploration stage. The good part is that it has a full-time mother, so I don't have to do too much kid management 😂.
